Frequently asked questions
What does a coach see?
The sessions the drivers share with the team: all their sessions, private ones included, or their public sessions only, as each driver chooses.
How do drivers join?
The coach creates the team and sends an invitation: a link, a code or a QR code, valid for the time and the number of drivers chosen. The drivers join from their free LapViz account, on the web or in LapViz Laptimer.
Can my team have a public page?
Yes. Make it public: its page shows the logo, the roster, the records of the team on the circuits and the public sessions of its drivers, and it is listed in the directory of the teams. Drivers under 18 and private profiles do not appear.
Do my drivers need the same laptimer?
No. AiM, Alfano, Unipro, RaceBox, GoPro, the LapViz apps...: every format imported by LapViz ends up in the same team, and the laps can be compared.
Does it work for cars and motorbikes?
Yes. Teams, analysis and comparisons work the same for karts, cars and motorbikes.
Can I coach a driver remotely?
Yes. The driver imports their sessions wherever they ride, you analyse them from your computer and share your analysis as a link.
Is it free?
Yes. Teams, sharing and analysis are free for coaches and drivers.
