Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know about data analysis?
No. After each import, the session report gives the best lap, the gaps and three ways to progress. The detailed analysis is there when you want to go further.
Can I time my child without a laptimer?
Yes. LapViz Stopwatch times the laps by hand from the side of the track, for free. With a laptimer or a GoPro with GPS, import its files to go further.
Who can see the sessions of my child?
You choose for each session: public, lap times only, shared with chosen people, or private. A private profile only shows its name to the other visitors.
Can the coach see the sessions?
Yes. Join the team of the coach with its invitation and choose whether the coaches see all the sessions or the public ones only. Drivers under 18 never appear on the public pages of the teams.
Is it only for karting?
No. Minibikes, motorbikes, cars: the stopwatch, the live timing and the analysis work for every vehicle.
Is it free?
Yes. LapViz Stopwatch, the live timing and the analysis of the sessions are free.
