Time several drivers at once
One button per driver: karting, cars, motorbikes or horses, the stopwatch follows everyone on track.
- Large buttons on the screen, or a Bluetooth keyboard or remote for the passages
- Lap times, best laps and statistics of each driver, computed as you go
- A lap timed by mistake is deleted in one tap and can be restored
Share the timing live
Create a session and invite the other timekeepers: the laps of every phone are gathered in real time, even when each one times other drivers.
- Laps in progress, sectors and deletions shared live
- Leave and join a session again at any time
- Automatic reconnection after a network loss or when the phone wakes up
Followed by everyone
Drivers, parents and team-mates follow the session in their browser on the live timing page, without installing anything.
- A link to share with your team
- On Android, LapViz devices are also received over Bluetooth: their passages and sectors are timed to the millisecond
Frequently asked questions
Is LapViz Stopwatch free?
Yes. The app is free on Google Play and on the App Store, and so is the live sharing of the sessions.
Do I need transponders or timing loops?
No. You time the passages by hand from the side of the track, or with LapViz devices that broadcast their laps over Bluetooth.
Can several people time the same session?
Yes. Each timekeeper joins the shared session from their phone and the lap times are gathered in real time.
