For team managers
Run your team on one platform
Drivers, coaches, mechanics, parents and sponsors: everybody needs the lap times, not everybody needs the same data. LapViz gathers the sessions of the whole team whatever the laptimers, times your drivers live from the pit wall and shares each piece with the right people.
One team, every driver
Create the team and send an invitation: the drivers join from their free account, on the web or in LapViz Laptimer.
- An owner, administrators and the role of each one: driver, coach, team manager, data engineer, mechanic, parent
- Each driver chooses what the coaches of the team see
- The recent sessions of the whole team on one page
- A session recorded on the wrong account transferred to its driver
A public page for the team
Like the page of a club on an esports wiki, with the data of the track.
- Logo, color, country, categories and links of the team
- The roster, and the former members with their dates
- The records of the team on each circuit
- Requests to join from the page, answered by the administrators
- Listed in the directory of the teams and found by the search engines
On the pit wall
The timing of your drivers, live, without transponders.
- LapViz Stopwatch: several timekeepers time all your drivers from their phones
- LapViz devices on the vehicles: laps and sectors received over Bluetooth
- A live timing link for the drivers, the parents and the sponsors
- LED matrix board showing the position, the last and the best lap of every vehicle
After the session
The data of every driver, ready for the debrief.
- Laps of team-mates overlaid, corner by corner
- Setups noted with each session and compared on each circuit
- Best laps and record of the day for every driver of the event
- Session reports to print, analyses exported in CSV, PDF and PNG
You decide what is shared
Public for the results, private for the data.
- Each session public, lap times only, shared with chosen people, or private
- Lap times in the leaderboards of the circuits, telemetry kept for the team
- Share cards for the social networks of the team and its sponsors
- Private time attack competitions between your drivers
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Teams, sharing, analysis, LapViz Stopwatch and the live timing are free.
Can our data stay private?
Yes. A private session is only seen by its driver and, when the driver shares with the team, by the coaches of the team. The lap times only sharing publishes the times without the telemetry.
Our drivers use different laptimers, is it a problem?
No. Every format imported by LapViz ends up in the same team: AiM, Alfano, Unipro, RaceBox, GoPro, the LapViz apps...
Can we time our drivers without transponders?
Yes. With LapViz Stopwatch on the phones of the team, or LapViz devices on the vehicles, then share the live timing link.
Can a mechanic or an engineer join the team?
Yes. Invite them and give them their role (mechanic, data engineer, team manager); add the coach role when they analyse the sessions the drivers share with the team.
Who appears on the public page of the team?
The members aged 18 or over with a public profile who did not hide themselves. The page stays private until an administrator makes it public.
Is it for karting teams only?
No. LapViz is not tied to a kind of vehicle or of championship: karting, cars, motorbikes, endurance or track days.
Also in the LapViz suite
- LapViz Stopwatch Time several drivers at once on your phone, share the lap times live with the other timekeepers and let anyone follow them online. Free on Android and iOS.
- Live timing Follow lap times live in a browser: shared timing with LapViz Stopwatch, LapViz devices over Bluetooth and Open Live Timing for the timing of the circuits.
- LapViz devices Turn an M5Stack board into a lap timer: track magnets or 10 Hz GPS, predictive delta, laps and sectors broadcast over Bluetooth to the LapViz apps.
- For coaches Gather your drivers in a team, see their sessions whatever their laptimer, compare them corner by corner and share your debriefs. Free for coaches and drivers.
- For mechanics and engineers Read the data of every logger, compare sessions and setups channel by channel, compute your own channels and note the setup of each run. Free, in the browser.
- Time attack Create a time attack on a karting or racing circuit: the drivers ride when they want during the period, their best laps fill the standings automatically.
